Unity3D for iOS: UIToolkit ColorPicker Demo – “UnityException: Texture ‘colorPickerSheet’ is not readable”

First time trying the ColorPicker demo, I got this error in Unity 3.5:

UnityException: Texture ‘colorPickerSheet’ is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts.

/*
UnityException: Texture 'colorPickerSheet' is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts. You can make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings.
UIColorPicker.getColorForPixel (Int32 xPos, Int32 yPos) (at Assets/Plugins/UIToolkit/UIElements/UIColorPicker.cs:109)
UIColorPicker.onTouchMoved (UIFakeTouch touch, Vector2 touchPos) (at Assets/Plugins/UIToolkit/UIElements/UIColorPicker.cs:82)
UIToolkit.lookAtTouch (UIFakeTouch touch) (at Assets/Plugins/UIToolkit/UIToolkit.cs:230)
UIToolkit.Update () (at Assets/Plugins/UIToolkit/UIToolkit.cs:57)
*/

It’s a pretty simple fix. Select the “colorPickerSheet” texture in the Project panel under DemoAssets > Resources. In the Inspector, click on the Texture Type dropdown & choose Advanced. Check the “Read/Write Enabled” checkbox. Play your scene again, the error should go away.
